This year’s Boston Antiquarian Book Fair taking place November 13 and 14 at the Hynes Convention Center is offering two really interesting free lectures.
On Saturday November 13 at 1:00 p.m., the Northeast Document Conservation Center will present, “How to Cure Smelly Books,” practical tips for the care of rare books.
On Sunday November 14 at 1:00 p.m., Michael Suarez, University Professor and Director of Rare Book School at the University of Virgina, will present “The Ecosystems of Book History: Local Actions, Global Analysis.”
Both NEDCC and the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School are international leaders in the field of rare book conservation and the history of rare books. Don’t miss these free lectures – they are a wonderful and rare opportunity!
